  3. I bought Copper Chef pans at Walmart and they absolutely are junk! Most terrible customer service ever, they basically blamed Walmart for their crap product.

    • I have had my pan for approx year now and have never had something stick to it. I have burned things and cleaned it with ease looking at my pan you won’t know unless I told you that it las approx a year old and has had things burned inside it more then twice. Those of you giving these negative reviews must not know how to wash dishes or common sense of use and maintenance of your pots and pans. I recently bought the Gotham Steel 2 sided grill/griddle and made pancakes and scrambled eggs on it as well as used it twice to bake chicken and works awesomely just like their pans. So in the near future my pots and pans will all be replaced by Gotham Steel ones! I just love Gotham Steel and give it 5 stars and I have and will suggest these to strangers as well as my friends and family!

  4. DIDN’T GET THE RECIPE BOOK THAT COME WITH THE ONLINE ORDER. IT HAS A YELLOW COVER. DINNER & DESSERTS. CAN YOU MAIL ME ONE? THANKS ALICE

  5. Ok…my views..green pan…sucked..i used a plastic spatula that i use on every thing.apparently i got little black specks on the pan..wich i could not get out..red copper love it..and if you get the set it comes with a lid that fits perfectly.it makes omlets so good .

  6. I bought a red copper pan and decided to get a lid for it. It’s the 12 inch model. Well no lid fits properly it is not 12 inches so they should offer a lid that fits. I have since switched to a Gotham pan and it is a true 12 year niches so found a lid that fit perfect. Both pans work great but one note: don’t forget to season the red copper once in a while.

  7. I had the green pan & I seasoned it b4 using. Never used anything metal in it, never put other pans in it or put it in the dishwasher. After about 6 months or less. I threw it out! Food stuck to the pan, it had many stretches in the pan. Very unhappy with the green pan and would not tell anyone to buy one. Stay away from these pans. So now when I hear there’s a better pan out there, I do not believe it. And I say, ya I heard that b4. But I wishes there was a pan out there that really does not stretch. Oh, & I have a glass top stove so, I’m glad I read you can’t use the copper 1 on a glass top stove.

  8. Noticed big round red copper pan got warped, it won’t sit flat on flat top stove. What it cause to warped?

  9. I used the 12.5 ” Gotham skillet for six months before the non-stick quality disappeared. I had saved the packaging and receipt and was able to obtain a full refund from Bed Barh & Beyond. It was great while it worked. I think a life long non-stick surface is sadly a myth.

  10. We bought the 10 in red copper skillet and we used it on our smooth top ceramic stove and it warped in the center and no it won’t sit flat on the stove. I emailed them about it and they said you can’t use it on a smooth top ceramic top stove. It would have been nice to know that before I bought it. I never read that anywhere. I got a small Gotham steel and so far it’s doing great. Just saying.

  11. I have the Red Copper and the Copper Chef. I like the red copper better, for one reason the handle is not as big and long. Both pans outside is hard to keep clean, food thick. I feel that red copper inside is better protected and having the shorter handle it is much easier to handle.

  12. I got my gotham square cookware set a couple weeks ago everything works great. Does everything that it says it does. The only question I have is does it work with induction heat and a gas stove?

    • I have a Red Copper pan that has scratched my glass cook top. I’m very dissapointed. There was no warning this could happen. It cooks everything great.

    • I have the Gotham Steel pan and I have a gas stove. I would say yes to the square one as it’s same material as their whole pots and pans line! The only true difference is it’s shape of the cooking part!

  13. I am very happy with my Red Copper pan. I fixed thin cut boneless pork chops, no grease or oil over medium heat. The pork chops were turned and browned, I added can of drained mushrooms, can green beans and can of carrots over the top of the pork chops and heated the vegetables and served. Meat and vegetable slid onto platter. Cleaning was just as advertised.

  14. You forgot to send me the recipe book that comes with the pan.

    • is there any way I can get the cookbook that comes with the pan that the woman does the cooking/. It has a recipe for spareribs and meat balls with noodles.I was given a red copper pan but the cook book is different.I hope you can help me Thank you

  15. Green pan worked was nonstick for about a month, but then started sticking especially for frying eggs. They talk about seasoning the pan a few times a year to keep performance, but I followed their procedure and it didn’t work.

    • Greenpan- Worked for about a month then everything sticks and is very difficult to clean!
Also, seasoned it well before using it.
It’s horrible I do not recommend.

    • I use my Red copper pan on an electric stove and it works fine. It does have a small scratch where perhaps a knife was used to cut a piece of meat.
I usually just rinse it in hot water after serving the eggs. The food must remain wet to slide out without help. I like that it is lightweight, heats quickly and cooks evenly.
